BIO
Britni Padilla-Dumas joined the UVM Theatre & Dance Program in August of 2026, bringing twenty years of theatre experience, ten years of military service, and six years of marketing and communications fieldwork to the job. She and her family became Burlington residents in February 2025.
While with CALSTART, Inc.—a non-profit in the clean transportation industry—Britni worked on several marketing campaigns for Cal Fleet Advisor, the Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Program (HVIP), and the Clean Off-Road Equipment (CORE) Incentive Project. During her time with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), she led several work-zone safety campaigns, the Share the Road campaign, and introduced the Keep It Clean, Arkansas campaign. Creating marketing collateral, collaborating with a team, creative problem solving, and developing workflow operations are among her favorite tasks.
Britni built box office and house management experience with the Studio Theatre in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a board member and keyholder, Britni trained volunteers on the ticketing system, patron relations, and pre-show procedures. Creative theatre credits include acting, lighting design, and stage management within central Arkansas’ non-profit and regional theatre community: Actor’s Theatre of Little Rock, The Studio Theatre, Riverside Actor’s Theatre, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Precipice Theatre, Weekend Theater, Ballet Arkansas, and the Royal Theatre. She is a founding member of the Young Players (Royal Theatre) and Actor’s Theatre of Little Rock. Stagehand credits include Robinson Auditorium (Little Rock, AR), Murphy Arts District (El Dorado, AR), The Perot Theatre (Texarkana, TX), and The Strand Theatre (Shreveport, LA).
Britni spent seven years as a Public Affairs Mass Communications Specialist in the Army National Guard, followed by five years as a writer and Public Information Specialist at ARDOT.
Britni received her BA in Theatre from Henderson State University and is a graduate of the Defense Information School (DINFOS).
