To enhance the classroom experience the theatre program partners with local professional theatre companies to offer internship opportunities that provide real-life job experience in the field. Partnerships include affiliations with Vermont Stage and St. Michael's Playhouse.

The Royall Tyler Theatre houses a fully equipped 300-seat thrust stage theatre, lighting classroom and lab, scene shop, costume shop, design classroom, acting classroom, general classroom, and faculty and staff offices.
