We are thrilled to announce some exciting news for this upcoming academic year. First, we would like to welcome Julian Barnett, our Dance Artist-in-Residence. Barnett was recently nominated for the 2018 Bessie award for Outstanding Performer. You can read more about him on his faculty page.

We are also very excited to have Alexander Hille for our Guest Artist Residency. Hille, who joined BJM - Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal in 2011 and was promoted to principal dancer in 2014, will be creating a work for our students. A Julliard School alumni, Hille is now establishing himself as an emergent choreographer. We are so fortunate to have both Barnett and Hille for this academic year with us. Come and check their work out at our Spring concert Dancing Uphill!!!
