Senior Isabel Coppola, double major in Political Science and Environmental Studies, was named recipient of the Fulbright Finland Foundation Fully Funded Award.
Izzy Coppola - was just named as a recipient of the Fulbright Finland Foundation Fully Funded Award. Izzy will spend time next year in Finland working at Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science furthering the ideas she worked on in our Research Methods class with Dr. Rachelle Gould and Laurie Kutner. Izzy’s work is focused on how the climate generation is dealing with climate anxiety and trying to unlock potential coping strategies that work. This story really is a great recipe of the engagement and passions of our students reaching out, taking action, and engaging in applied scholarship. Given our current global context of the climate, pandemic and mental health crises – Izzy’s work is so important.
