BIO

Nicole Bull is a Vermont-based artist and educator working in lens-based media. She holds a BA from the University of Vermont and an MFA in Advanced Photographic Studies from International Center of Photography at Bard College. Her practice is focused on the dual nature of caretaking, weaving together personal essay with still and moving images. Looking closely at intimate and familial relationships, her work examines the power dynamics in everyday acts of care. Recent solo and group exhibitions include the International Center for Photography (New York, NY), Collar Works (Troy, NY), Root Division (San Francisco, CA), Baxter Street CCNY, (New York, NY) and Brooklyn Art Cluster (Brooklyn, NY).
