Start at CCV, graduate From UVM, and get the benefits of a UVM degree. A Transfer Pathway is an academic plan that guarantees you junior status at the time you transfer to UVM.

If you are a qualified student studying at Community College of Vermont (CCV), you can apply to one of 30 Transfer Pathway Programs.

When you transfer to UVM using a Transfer Pathway, you have a dedicated team behind you to ensure your success. Staff from both UVM and CCV will guide you through the process from start to finish. When it’s time to transfer, you’ll have no hoops to jump through–your team will make the transition as seamless as possible. 

  • No uncertainty: the guesswork is taken out of the transfer process; you’ll have guaranteed admission and junior status at time of transfer. 
  • Clear course roadmaps so you know exactly which courses you need to take to stay on track for graduation. 
  • Scholarship for students with GPA over 2.8. 
  • $500 UVM enrollment fee is waived.

Pathway Program Process

Step 1: Apply to CCV, get accepted, and enroll as a degree student.  

Step 2: Complete the UVM Transfer Pathways Interest Form.

Step 3: Work with your CCV advisor on course and degree planning. 

Step 4: The semester before enrolling at UVM, complete the common application or coalition application, and send official transcripts to UVM admissions.
