What do AdvoCats do?
AdvoCats are student ambassadors who work in the UVM Admissions Office and assist in the recruitment of future UVM students. AdvoCats lead hour-long walking tours, mingle with visitors in our Welcome Center, moderate/participate in student Q&A panels, and more. AdvoCats assist students by answering questions and sharing their experiences and knowledge, all in order to help students envision themselves here and get excited about what UVM has to offer.

This is a paid position with an average time commitment of 3 hours per week. Some weekend availability is required. Applicants must have at least a 2.8 GPA at the time of hire. Students who will be graduating this academic year are not eligible to apply.

AdvoCat Experiences
