Human Subjects Research CITI Training Update
The UVM Research Protections Office is partnering with the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program to provide training to our research community. We are pleased to announce that CITI is now live for Human Subjects Research training!
What does this mean for you?
• Your current Human Subjects tutorial completion will remain valid.
• Next time you are required to complete training, you will be directed to the CITI training.
• You may choose to complete the CITI training any time to meet your 3-year requirement.
• You will continue to receive reminder letters as your training nears expiration directing you to the new CITI training.
• Certificates of completion for both UVM and CITI training will continue to be available on our website.

Change to Compensation for Injury Language
Effective 4/16/15, new template language regarding research-related injuries has been adopted by the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center. The consent forms for all research protocols that are more than minimal risk involving physical interventions must contain the new compensation language, verbatim. See Notice and FAQs
