We’re here to help you find a community in one of our two-hundred recognized student organizations. The Student Government Association (SGA) works to ensure our student organizations receive support and funding for programming, operations, and leadership development - allowing students to explore their interests while obtaining valuable career skills in the process.
Over 80% of UVM students are involved in at least one club or organization - and with about 200 SGA recognized clubs, we're sure to have at least one that'll help you expand your intellectual and social spheres.

There are a multitude of ways to engage in-person and virtually with clubs at the start of each semester. ActivitiesFest: UVM Club Crawl occurs at the start of both the Fall and Spring semesters. Both are great opportunities to chat with club members to learn more about your opportunities for engagement. This fall, ActivitiesFest will span four days both across campus and virtually to help promote social distancing efforts.
Our club database, UVM Clubs, features a complete listing of all our SGA-recognized Clubs and Organizations - including information on each specific club, club contacts, applications, forms, and more. All UVM undergraduate students have access to UVM Clubs by signing in with their UVM netid and password.
Administered by the Department of Student Life, this survey helps new students identify the organizations that pertain to their specific interests. This aids us in connecting clubs with interested students, assisting them with getting involved during their first semester at UVM.
This survey is often completed during orientation - but can be taken anytime online prior to the start of their first semester. Responses are shared with clubs at two points during the year - at the start of the fall and spring semesters.

Stop by our office in the Davis Center during business hours and say ‘Hi’. Our organizations all have physical spaces in Student Government and our front desk staff are more than happy to try and help connect you in-person.
