The Provost’s Office has responsibility for a number of strategic initiatives related to the University’s academic mission.
These include initiatives to ensure academic rigor and excellence, support student success, recruit and retain a world-class faculty, support progress toward strategic goals as defined in the University’s strategic plan, identify opportunities for interdisciplinary research, and ensure a culture of excellence that inspires the entire UVM academic community.
