BIO

As Director of the Osher Center for Integrative Health at UVM, Cara Feldman-Hunt, MA, NBC-HWC, connects skilled practitioners, researchers, educators, and students across UVM and the UVM Health Network with one another and to our global community of experts committed to improving health outcomes. With nearly 20 years in the field, Feldman-Hunt brings a proven track record of fostering collaboration across disciplines throughout her career, in large corporate settings, small start-ups, non-profits, and educational institutions. She served as Associate Director since the Bernard Osher Foundation’s 2022 establishment of UVM's Osher Center. 

Before joining UVM in 2015, Feldman-Hunt directed the Laura Mann Center, where she played a key role in advancing integrative healthcare in Vermont and connecting regional integrative practitioners with UVM and the UVM Health Network (UVMHN). She later established UVM Integrative Health, a collaborative initiative among the Larner College of Medicine, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the UVM Medical Center. 

Feldman-Hunt also serves in national leadership roles, including on the Osher Collaborative Steering Committee, and has just completed her three-year term of board service at the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health (ACMIH). Locally, she supports youth empowerment through her work on the board of The Strong Youth Foundation. She is pursuing a Doctorate in Whole Health Leadership.
