To nourish a supportive, collaborative community, the Osher Center for Integrative Health offers access to resources and opportunities that support Osher Affiliates in a variety of ways. Opportunities include: 

Apply for:  

• Osher Faculty Fellowship

• Multi-site research studies 

• Osher Collaborative commentary in the Journal of Integrative and Complementary Medicine  

• UVM Osher Working Groups (Research, Clinical, Education, Planetary Health, Inclusive Excellence

• Presentation of your work to UVM Osher, Osher Collaborative & Academic Consortium

Connect to a global network of Integrative Health professionals who are actively engaged in transforming our healthcare system.   

Utilize Osher Center facilities for events and classes (including classroom, conference, kitchen). 

To become an Osher Affiliate, complete the Osher Affiliate Application. Once reviewed, Osher Center staff will be in touch with next steps! 

To advance our mission and ensure a productive and enriching experience for everyone, the Osher Center for Integrative Health ask Osher Affiliates to meet the following requirements: 

1. Work at University of Vermont (UVM) or UVM Health Network (UVMHN). 

2. Be actively engaged in work related to OCIH Mission, Vision, and Values. 

3. Attend three Osher Affiliate meetings per academic year. Participate regularly in any UVM Osher Committee meetings (e.g., Education, Research, Clinical, Planetary Health, etc.) 

4. (For Practitioners) Post profile on the Integrative Practitioner Network.  

5. Identify as a UVM Osher Affiliate when publishing and on your website, profile, email signature, social media, and other outreach. 

6. Share your work with the Osher Communications manager for UVM Osher Center, Osher Collaborative, and Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health outreach. 

7. Maintain good standing in and adhere to standards of professional conduct through the institution or organization that employs or licenses the individual in question (such as the Board of Medical Practice, Vermont Office of Professional Regulation, etc.) and align with UVM’s Our Common Ground.
