Graduate Public Health Program Goals

Align with the Vision and describe how the Mission is accomplished. These include:

  • Excellence in Education:
    Demonstrate national leadership in graduate public health distance education with an accessible, engaged, interactive learning environment that promotes collaboration and intercultural excellence, and prepares graduates for public health’s future with an innovative curriculum, exceptional faculty, and strong student support
  • Excellence in Research, Scholarship and Teaching:
    Advance public health by cultivating active faculty research and scholarly endeavors that give students a strong foundation in scientific inquiry, quantitative and qualitative health sciences, and evidence-based health practices

    Promote active engagement in public health solutions and ensure graduates are prepared for public health practice and leadership in diverse communities and populations, including best practices in advocacy, prevention efforts, and policy development
