The Division of Public Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Chris Zuidema as a new faculty member. Dr. Zuidema brings a wealth of expertise in environmental and occupational health, with a strong academic foundation and practical experience in industrial hygiene.

He earned his PhD in Environmental Health and Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution. Dr. Zuidema then began his academic career at the University of Washington, where he held multiple roles focused on environmental and occupational health sciences.

This fall, Dr. Zuidema will be teaching Environmental Public Health I and contributing to the Division’s environmental public health area of excellence. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact he will make in advancing public health education and research.
