UVM Graduate students Keelan Boisvert and Jocelyn Botelho will represent their research groups at the Delta Omega Poster Session this fall.

Congratulations to our 2025 Delta Omega student poster presenters. Each year, students can advance their Culminating Project Experience research towards publication or presentation at a national conference. This year the Delta Omega Society invited two student groups to present at the annual Delta Omega Poster Session at the American Public Health Association National Conference in November 2025 held in Washington D.C. A competitive process, the outstanding quality of their research led to the honor of selection for the session. Keelan Boisvert will represent her group and present a poster titled Comparing the Impact of Adolescent Dating Violence and Bullying on Anxiety Among LGBTQ+ and Heterosexual-Cisgender Adolescents in Vermont.  This project was mentored by UVM Public Health faculty member and Director Health Services Research Center Dr. Erika Ziller. Jocelyn Botelho will represent her group with a poster presentation on Rural-Urban differences in mental health outcomes among cancer survivors: Findings from the National Health Interview Survey, 2021-2023. This project was mentored by UVM Public Health Research Specialist Dr. Elizabeth Woods. Dr. Tom Delaney and Dr. Elzerie de Jager facilitate and mentor the Culminating Project Experience for the UVM graduate public health program with generous support from director Dr. Jan K. Carney.
