Dr. Jan K. Carney Speaks Out in Support of Medicaid for Families and Communities
Jan K. Carney, MD, MPH, president of the American College of Physicians and associate dean for public health and health policy at the University of Vermont's Larner College of Medicine, spoke recently on the importance of Medicaid. Dr. Carney joined primary care colleagues from the American Academy of Pediatrics to advocate for Medicaid, calling it a life-saving measure for many American families.
