Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) has become an essential bedside tool in the evaluation and management of acutely ill patients. This pre-conference workshop provides a comprehensive blend of focused didactic instruction followed by hands-on training using live models. The session begins with a concise review of ultrasound fundamentals, followed by practical application across a range of diagnostic scenarios, including focused cardiac assessment, thoracic ultrasound, and identification of renal and bladder pathologies. Case-based discussions reinforce clinical integration and diagnostic decision-making. To ensure a highly interactive learning experience, the workshop maintains a maximum faculty-to-learner ratio of 1:3, allowing individualized instruction and feedback tailored to each participant’s skill level.
