The 2025 conference will be hosted as a hybrid event, in-person at the Dudley H. Davis Center at the University of Vermont and virtually over zoom.

Participants can expect to:

  • Access the latest, evidence-based information about cancer prevention and detection;
  • Learn about treatment options across a range of cancers;
  • Gain information about support and wellness options to enhance survivorship; and
  • Feel inspired and supported!

In 2022, the Courtney and Victoria Buffum Family Foundation gave $1 million to create the Patti O’Brien, MD Women’s Health and Cancer Fund which will support the conference into the future.

"I thought it was wonderful to be able to be virtual and yet also have great video of the conference goers. I loved that during the Q and A I could see people around the room--it gave me a sense of "being there" even though I was remote."
-- a virtual participant

""adding to my general knowledge base for patient care and enhanced understanding of their disease/personal needs."
-- a provider and attendee

"I loved getting the acupuncture ‘sample’. I had always hesitated to go because I don’t like needles, but this was not bad and even in a noisy room I was able to relax and benefit… I will look further into using acupuncture now.” "
