I am interested in landscape ecology, land management, and insect conservation in the context of pollinator-dependent crops. My work explores landscape design principles from both an ecological and social perspective, by thinking not only about what natural processes are critical to preserve/restore on farms, but also by centering the perspectives of farmers as land stewards. Agroecology is a space for making these connections between social and ecological systems to facilitate food systems transformations.
