Universities are not immune to the xenophobia and racial resentment that continue to escalate in the wake of the most rancorous election season many of us have ever witnessed.  As we deal with the fallout in our public and private lives, our classrooms and work environments are crucial spaces to analyze and honestly reckon with cultural hysteria around immagration and racial and ethnic diversity, as well as grave misunderstandings regarding hate speech and sexual harassment.  The Blackboard Jungle Symposium is an opportunity to discuss the varying roles that the classroom and work environment can play in civic life.

Please join the Office of the Vice President for Human Resources, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs for this exciting learning day and celebration of the Blackboard Jungle Symposium's 10th Anniversary.  Registration is required.
