This Cultural Resource Guide is for those living or considering living in the greater Burlington area and who want to learn more about the diverse resources available. At UVM, we believe this is a vital resource for prospective and current faculty, staff, and students from a variety of backgrounds, experiences and/or identities. Although this resource is not exhaustive, we hope it gives you a better sense of the diversity of resources available to you in the area.

Live

Got a job or admissions letter that will bring (or keep!) you in the area? We know there's a lot more to setting up or maintaining your home here. From housing to compost laws to childcare, find what you need to live your best life.

Eat

Food is more than just a means of survival. The practices, attitudes, and beliefs we hold around the food we eat, how it's grown and prepared are deeply tied to our cultural identities. We're dedicated to enhancing access to what nourishes you.

Gather
