Rachel Humphrey (she/her) is the Medical Director at Student Health Services and a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. Rachel was born and raised in Vermont and earned her medical degree from The University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency in 2011 and practiced primary care along with inpatient hospital medicine for many years before joining UVM Student Health. Her clinical interests include integrative health, primary care (including reproductive health), and procedures. After caring for (mostly) older adult patients for many years, she is committed to empowering students to take an active role in their healthcare by developing the knowledge and skills to make informed health decisions throughout their lives.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and dogs. She loves exploring places around Vermont with them and cheering on her kids from the sidelines (or coaching the team!).
