BIO

Max was hired as a Basic Needs Coordinator at UVM in July of 2025, and works to help connect students with community resources to get them the essentials they need, whether that be food, clothes, or other necessities. He is involved in assisting the functions of Rally Cat's Cupboard. 

Max previously worked in student communications for UVM's Department of Housing while completing his degree. He received the Dewey Award for Independent Research in May 2025. Max's research interests include neurodiversity, systems theory, and clinical psychology.

Max enjoys spending time with his spouse, amateur fossil hunting, and hobby entomology. You can often find him walking around UVM's campus with a bug net in search of rare butterflies. If you see him with his butterfly net, feel free to say hello!
