BIO


Abhi is a first-year Ph.D. student in the CMB. Abhi earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biotechnology, where she gained experience in stem cell engineering and disease modeling. Prior to joining UVM, Abhi worked as a Research Scientist at Seattle Children’s Research Institute, developing stem cell-derived cerebral organoids to study the tumor microenvironment in gliomas. She is currently exploring dissertation opportunities within CMB’s interdisciplinary environment, with research interests focused on understanding the cellular and molecular drivers of cancer progression, cancer immunology, and therapeutic development.
