Remember your final months of school?  Chances are you were working feverishly to meet deadlines and wrap up your commitments, while feeling the pressure of your job search.  UVM Career Services and the Graduate College are working to improve career-related support for graduate students, and would like your help.  How?  Try these options:

  • If you have an internship or job opening you think might be filled by a UVMer, let Career Services know by calling 802-656-3450, emailing Career.Services@uvm.edu, or posting it yourself via our website.   If your organization is interested in recruiting on campus via job fairs, tables in the student center, or on-campus interviewing, call or email and we will help find the best ways for you to source candidates.

  • Students often have questions about working day-to-day in particular careers, discerning organizational culture, or distinguishing themselves as candidates, and experts already working in a field provide great resources. By joining UVM Career Connection on LinkedIn you can provide advice and information that help students successfully transition.

  • Career Services sponsors networking events (in Boston, Burlington, New York City and Washington, DC) speakers and panels, and identifies prospective alumni participants via UVM Career Connection and its field-based subgroups.  Join, and let us know if you are interested.
