Responsibilities: assistance with transferring, toileting, bathing, dressing, meal prep and light housekeeping. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, have reliable transportation, and complete a background check. Important qualities are reliability, integrity, positive attitude and willingness to learn. PCA OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for additional staff to work with a 13-year-old boy who has Autism, Epilepsy and ADHD. This job requires bringing him out to the community, lunch/dinner, and helping him perform activities of daily living. He works with two staff at once, so you’ll have the added support of an additional peer. Seizure training will be provided for those who work through nap or bedtime, as seizures only occur during sleep. Ideally, we are looking for someone to start weekends this spring, but are hoping they can and will continue into the summer, where many additional hours will be open. We can provide training! Support needed for a four-year-old female. She has a congenital issue, is non-ambulatory, and she has both g-tube feeds and urine cathing needs 4 times daily. She is also prone to low blood sugar and needs glucose monitoring a few times a day. We are looking for someone to work with my son, Henry, as part of our PCA team.  He is a 13 year old boy with some special needs.  He has a rare genetic mutation which presents with ADHD and cognitive delays.  Overall, he is a super fun and energetic little guy.  He loves music, going places like Petsmart and Lowes, and getting "special coffee drinks" from Starbucks.  You must have transportation but you will be working alongside another person (always 2 on 1).   Pay is $25 per hour and our current needs are Friday afternoons 3-5pm, Saturday either 8am-12 or 1-5pm, as well as Sundays 1-5pm.  You do not need to do all of these shifts. I am looking for a care attendant to help me get my husband up and ready in the mornings and to get him ready for bed in the evenings. We are within walking distance of campus and would be an ideal position for a student to come in for an hour or two prior to classes starting and then an hour or two in the evening. We certainly may need a few students to split duties to give us coverage for the seven days of the week. Experience is preferred, but we would be willing to pay for training. Seeking companion and helper for a woman in a wheelchair who is paralyzed from MS. Hours are flexible. Ideally you would provide 4 hours shifts during the daytime hours, weekday or weekend. Location is in a private home on Lake Champlain, with a dog, cat and bird. Tasks would include helping to organize the home, general household errands, companionship, and some basic pet care.
