Patrick received his PhD in neuroscience from University of Vermont, where he studied the mechanisms underlying inherited diseases of the nervous system. While completing his thesis work at UVM, he was involved in education of medical, physical therapy, and undergraduate students. In his current position as an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences, Patrick teaches undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology.
