BIO

Danish Hasan Ansari is a doing a PhD in Sustainable Development Policy, Economics and Governance from the University Vermont. He is also a Leadership for the Ecozoic (L4E) fellow, which is a joint project between the University of Vermont and McGill University. He has done his BSc (Honors) in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan and Master's in Economics from the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany. Danish has work experience in the development sector and has also taught at a university in Pakistan.

Currently his research focuses on how monetary systems can be used to achieve sustainable outcomes for our planet. In particular he is interested in stock-flow-fund macroeconomic modelling to study the transmission mechanisms of monetary systems and their impact on sustainability.
