Alex Frantz graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. After receiving an Americorps VISTA position doing program development and capacity building for the food justice non-profit Rural Action, she decided to put down roots in rural, southeastern, Ohio. After serving her Americorps VISTA term, Alex was hired as fulltime staff to continue her work in food systems development, farm to school program development and volunteer recruitment. In 2021, Alex and her partner relocated to Burlington, VT where she continues to pursue her passion for food justice as the Food Access Coordinator for Feeding Chittenden.
