CDAE Invites Students to Help Shape Its Future at Charrette-Style Town Meeting Day

The Department of Community Development and Applied Economics (CDAE) invites all undergraduate students to participate in a Charrette-Style Town Meeting Day on Wednesday, March 26. This exciting event provides students the opportunity to actively shape the future of CDAE by engaging in meaningful discussions and offering feedback on the department’s direction.

This collaborative and interactive event will include opportunities for students to vote on ten key questions about the future of CDAE and to submit anonymous suggestions on how the department can improve and evolve. Students will have the chance to weigh in on important topics such as curriculum changes, community engagement, and study abroad. Whether you have just five or ten minutes to spare, your input will be valued and can make a difference.

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2025
  • Time: 12:15 PM – 2:15 PM
  • Location: Silver Maple Ballroom, Davis Center

Throughout the event, students can stop by and participate for as little as five or ten minutes—whether you’re dropping by to vote, submit ideas, or listen in on discussions, every contribution is welcome. Your voice will directly influence how the department serves its students, faculty, and the UVM community.

CDAE students are invited to ask their professors for extra credit earned for participating in the CDAE Town Meeting Day.
