Important Updates for Spring 2026

You must send your accommodation letters before you can use your accommodations. You will be able to send accommodation letters to faculty using the myACCESS Portal beginning on the morning of Monday, January 12 . We strongly recommend sending your letters as early as possible in the semester.

Consider whether the accommodation applies in that specific course before including it on your letter. After submitting accommodation letters, follow up with your faculty via email so that you have a shared understanding of how your accommodations will work in each course.

The accommodation letter module will close on Friday, April 10 at 12 noon.  After April 10, accommodations may not be implemented before the end of the semester, and students will need to request accommodations through their Accessibility Specialist based on uniquely extenuating circumstances. Accommodations cannot be implemented retroactively.
