Description: UVM Extension will be hosting a webinar for producers of beef, pigs, sheep and goats to discuss opportunities for on-farm slaughter. Randy Quenneville, Meat Programs Chief with the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets, will present details on current legislation and exemptions and how producers interested in on-farm slaughter should move forward. The webinar will feature a presentation followed by questions and answers. The webinar will be recorded.
