Office of Institutional Research

Megan Lynne Nyce is an Administrative Analyst/Planner in the Office of Institutional Research and a new member of the UVM community. She recently graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with an M.S. in Higher Education and has experience working on assessment planning, data collection and cleaning, analysis, and reporting/presenting. She is excited about using data to make a positive contribution toward student life and student success, to highlight the work going on in various departments, and to achieve the goals of the UVM while improving upon its challenges.

Before joining the team at the University of Vermont, Meg worked at Penn State as a graduate assistant for Student Affairs Research and Assessment, as an intern with Career Services, and at Cornell University for a summer in Residence Life. Through her graduate assistantship, she worked on Penn State’s post-graduation data, research projects with the counseling center, the Sexual Misconduct Climate Survey, and a variety of surveys on student satisfaction and usage of services. Prior to graduate school, Meg earned a B.A. in Political Science from York College of Pennsylvania and worked as a legal assistant and as a campaign coordinator.
