Monique E. Priestley

Elected to the Board by the Vermont State Legislature in 2023. Term expires in March 2029. Raised in Piermont, New Hampshire and currently resides in Bradford, Vermont. Educated at University of Vermont, Computer Science and Russian; Northern Vermont University Lyndon, AS Graphic Design and BA Digital Media, 2008; and University of Washington, MC Digital Media, 2011. Monique founded The Space on Main, a nonprofit workspace in 2017. She spent 14 years working in various roles, including Director of Digital for CampusCE Corporation, an EdTech company in Seattle, Washington. In 2024, for her tech policy work in the Legislature, she received Council of State Government's Top 20 under 40 award and Electronic Privacy Information Center's National Championship of Freedom award.
