Kristina M. Pisanelli

Elected to the Board by the self-perpetuating board in 2022. Term expires in March 2028. Born in Brighton, Massachusetts, and raised in Mendon, Vermont. Educated at UVM, BA, Political Science and History, 1997; and Georgetown University Law Center, Juris Doctor, 2005. Kristina is currently Vice President of Global Government Affairs - Americas for Medtronic where she is responsible for strategy and engagement with governments throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Prior to joining Medtronic in 2015, Kristina served as Vice President, U.S. External Affairs for Fiat Chrysler Automotive (now Stellantis).  She also previously practiced law in Washington, DC, and served as a legislative assistant to Vermont U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy (1999-2003) and as a policy analyst in the Office of the Governor of Vermont for Howard Dean (1997-1999).  Kristina is past President of the UVM Alumni Association and a former member of the UVM Foundation Board of Directors, and the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources and Honors College Boards of Advisors. She received the Distinguished Service Award from the UVM Alumni Association in 2020. Kristina resides in Washington, DC.
