McKenzie E. Hart

Appointed to the Board by the Associated Directors for the Appointment of Student Trustees, Inc. in 2025. Term expires 2027. Born and raised in Arlington, VA. Graduated from Wakefield High School where she received an AP Capstone Diploma and an Advanced Studies Diploma. While at Wakefield High School McKenzie was a member of the National Honors Society and on the Leadership Board of Wakefield’s Interact Club. She was the 2023 recipient of the Wakefield’s Outstanding Overall Business Student Award and was an Innovation Village Finalist at the 2022 Berlin Global Leadership Summit. McKenzie is a recipient of the UVM Presidential Scholarship (four-year merit-based award) and is currently enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences pursuing a major in Political Science, class of 2027. She is actively engaged on campus and is a member of the Political Science Club, Planned Parenthood Generation Action, and Women in Law. McKenzie works part-time virtually during the school year, and full time on-site during academic breaks, supporting the digital marketing operations for the Dance Academy of Virginia.
