Shannon Deegan
Elected to the Board by the self-perpetuating board in 2026. Term expires in March 2032. A Montreal native, Shannon earned a B.A. from UVM in 1987 and received the Most Outstanding Student award. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where he was an Olin Research Fellow, and a Master of Philosophy in International Studies from Trinity College, Dublin. Shannon retired from Google in 2024 as Global Vice President of Real Estate and Workplace Services after seventeen years of service in a range of senior leadership roles. Prior to joining Google, Shannon was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York, worked in the financial industry in Asia and in public service in Canada, including as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State and as an assistant to Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. Shannon also played professional ice hockey in the Los Angeles Kings organization. Married to Patti; they have three children.
