Graduate Student Year in College Verification

Your current FAFSA application indicates that you are a graduate student.

Why am I being asked to verify my grade level?

Body

Your FAFSA currently indicates that you are at a graduate student grade level. However, your UVM record indicates that you are at the undergraduate grade level.

UVM needs to verify your grade level to make sure your FAFSA is accurate and complete. Without a completed FAFSA, we will be unable to offer you an official financial aid offer and/or pay financial aid to your student account.

How do I verify my grade level?

Body
  • Make an edit to your existing FAFSA
  • Update your Grade Level - from 'Graduate' level to 'Undergraduate' level academic status
  • Provide additional information as required
  • Review your changes and sign and submit your corrected FAFSA

My FAFSA grade level is correct

Body

If you believe that the information on your FAFSA grade level is correct please email us at sfs@uvm.edu to explain to us why your academic level is correct so we can work on correcting your UVM record.
