The Army ROTC program at UVM is the oldest in the country, beginning in 1913 as the Student's Army Training Course. The University of Vermont "Green Mountain Battalion" has an illustrious history of military achievement.

What is Army ROTC?

Army ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) is the premier leadership course in the country. For participating students, ROTC curriculum is incorporated into your individual degree program and consists of 18 credits taken over 4 years.

Prospective Cadets and Scholarships

Students in the UVM ROTC program have unique training opportunities. There are ample scholarship opportunities available to current and prospective nursing students.
