About Millicent Eidson

Dr. Eidson is the instructor for PH 322, One Health: Zoonoses. She is Professor Emeritus at the UAlbany School of Public Health and formerly employed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Mexico and New York state health departments.

Dr. Eidson’s degrees include a M.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She was in the 1983 class of CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS). Board certifications include the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and its Epidemiology specialty.
