Dear UVM community,
I’m writing to share an important leadership update. The UVM Foundation Board of Directors has selected Chris Jacobsen to serve as the Foundation’s next President and Chief Executive Officer. Read the formal announcement here.
Chris joins us from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business, where he is currently Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs and Development. He brings significant experience in advancement work, a strong record of partnership, and thoughtful leadership at an important moment for our institution.
My sincere thanks to all who took part in the search process. You played a meaningful role in helping to find the right next leader for the Foundation.
I am excited to welcome Chris and am confident he will help us build on our momentum in philanthropy, strengthen connections with our alumni, and support UVM’s mission through collaboration across our community.
