BIO

Carly is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the beef herd at the Research Station. She has about 20 years of experience working with livestock including cattle, sheep, and horses. Formally, she worked as a Grazing Specialist for UVM Extension, bringing an abundance of knowledge about rotational grazing systems and sustainable farming practices into this role. Carly is excited to combine her love for farming and interest in research to spread the Research Station's findings to other farmers in the region.
