The Eleanor M. Luse Center for Communication and The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders will provide free community hearing screenings for ages 18 and older on Wednesday, March 16. Exams will include an otoscopic (visual) ear exam and hearing screening in a sound-treated booth. Procedures will be supervised by a licensed audiologist. Appointments are required; no walk-ins will be accepted. To schedule an appointment, call 802-656-3861.

Please note this is a screening to determine if hearing loss may be present. It is not a full hearing evaluation. If the screening suggests hearing loss may be present, individuals will be referred to an audiologist for a full hearing evaluation.
About the Eleanor M. Luse Center for Communication
The Eleanor M. Luse Center for Communication is an audiology, speech, and language clinic and the primary teaching facility for the University of Vermont's Communication Sciences and Disorders program. The center provides hearing health care and speech and language services including voice therapy, speech therapy and treatment for stuttering in children and adults in a private and professional setting.
