Staff Updates
Michaal Cannizzaro, Ph.D., CCC-SLP was named interim associate dean for academic affairs.
Deb McAdoo was hired as the new unit post-award administrator for CNHS. Deb has 14 years of experience at UVM in post award grant management. Prior to coming to UVM, Deb worked at the State of Vermont as a public health program administrator for 12 years. While at UVM, Deb has had experience as both a post award departmental administrator supporting the PIs and most recently as a central financial analyst supporting post award financial reporting and analysis across many units.
Sue Lalumiere has been hired as unit post-award administrator team lead. Due will manage all SPA 2.0 unit post-award administrators and work with Deb McAdoo to streamline and create post-award processes, continue to improve post-award grant management support for all PIs, and establish tools and resources to assist PIs in managing their grants. Sue has been with SPA for 7 years, starting as a financial analyst and being promoted to a senior financial analyst in 2018. She is a certified research administrator (CRA) and a certified financial research administrator (CFRA).
