Justin Moore, licensed physical therapist and chief executive officer of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), will speak at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2025 induction ceremony on September 22.
Before being named CEO, Moore was APTA’s executive vice president of public affairs. Prior to that, he served in several government affairs positions, including work as the association’s lead lobbyist on Capitol Hill. Moore earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Simmons College, a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Iowa State University.
Physical therapists from the community are invited to attend the event, which will take place from 4-5:30 p.m. on September 22 in the Davis Auditorium in the Larner College of Medicine.
