Laura O'Sullivan, V.M.D., M.P.H., graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing small animal emergency and general medicine for the past seven years. Dr. O'Sullivan has a long-standing interest in One Health, the concept that the health of humans, animals, and the environment is all related. Because of that interest, she returned to school to pursue a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, which she completed in 2020.

Since then, she has remained in clinical practice while actively participating in research and education surrounding One Health. She enjoys educating her clients, other veterinarians, and students about the One Health concept and how to apply it to their own careers. She is particularly interested in rabies control, antimicrobial resistance, stewardship education, and zoonotic diseases and spillover events. She joined the University of Vermont in the Spring of 2021.
