Caitlin Wilson, M.P.H., is a health services administrator for a long-term care facility in Vermont. She is a public health advocate and focuses her research and projects on increasing health equity for Vermont’s most vulnerable populations. Prior to working as a healthcare administrator, Caitlin worked for years in social services and community outreach at a Federally Qualified Health Center. She is a UVM LCOM’s MPH Program graduate, and her undergraduate education in Biological Science was also completed at the University of Vermont.
Caitlin is an active member of her small Vermont Community. She has served as an intern learning more about the Accountable Communities for Health Model with THRIVE. She also has spent years collaborating on a migrant health program to increase healthcare access throughout Vermont. Caitlin has volunteered for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and at an HIV/HCV Center, where she conducted community needs assessment surveys to better increase health equity. Caitlin has years of experience providing health education courses, such as smoking cessation group interventions and diabetes self-management courses, at no cost to her community.
Caitlin is also the career advisor for all incoming, current, and graduated Master of Public Health Students.
