Sylvie Doublié, Ph.D. is the recipient of MMG’s first endowed professorship, the “Green and Gold Professor in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics”. Dr. Doublie is an internationally recognized expert in the structural biology of DNA damage and repair. Please join us if you can.
First Annual MMG Virtual Research Spotlight on March 5, 2026 at 3PM
Join us for short research talks by MMG undergraduate alumna (Suzie Stephenson, PhD), MMG PhD alumni (Hui Wu, PhD), and current faculty (Steven Roberts, PhD). Following the talks, there will be multiple ZOOM breakout rooms to connect with your favorite MMG colleagues. More details to follow.
MMG Annual Open House - September 2026
MMG is hosting annual gathering on UVM Weekend to reconnect with alumni, as well as MMG parents and families. An opportunity to connect, in words and physical tours, with where the department, it’s research, and it’s strong academic program is at now, combining past and future.

$50 can provide a lab or student researcher with 1 box of 25ml pipette tips (100 count). These are vital to almost every lab in the department, including teaching labs.

$200 can provide a lab or student researcher with a 50 count box of 96-well plates. These are also used heavily by many of our labs.
