Sylvie Doublié, Ph.D. is the recipient of MMG’s first endowed professorship, the “Green and Gold Professor in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics”. Dr. Doublie is an internationally recognized expert in the structural biology of DNA damage and repair. Please join us if you can.

First Annual MMG Virtual Research Spotlight on March 5, 2026 at 3PM

Join us for short research talks by MMG undergraduate alumna (Suzie Stephenson, PhD), MMG PhD alumni (Hui Wu, PhD), and current faculty (Steven Roberts, PhD). Following the talks, there will be multiple ZOOM breakout rooms to connect with your favorite MMG colleagues. More details to follow.

MMG is hosting annual gathering on UVM Weekend to reconnect with alumni, as well as MMG parents and families. An opportunity to connect, in words and physical tours, with where the department, it’s research, and it’s strong academic program is at now, combining past and future.
