BIO

Dr. Sarah Owen is a toxicologist with experience in human health risk assessment and toxicology testing, and is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT). Sarah currently evaluates the safety of a wide range of chemicals that come into contact with food as part of FDA and other global regulatory submissions. Prior to this role, Sarah served as the State Toxicologist for the Vermont Department of Health, where she provided expert technical guidance on statewide environmental toxicology issues. She interpreted technical and complex data to evaluate environmental hazards and their potential impacts to public health.
