We provide kidney replacement therapies for patients with end-stage kidney disease including in-center hemodialysis and home dialysis, by either peritoneal or short daily hemodialysis and treatment of acute kidney failure using continuous kidney replacement therapies in the intensive care unit.

Dialysis and Transplant
The unit has an experienced staff committed to training patients for a variety of home dialysis therapies. In conjunction with the Department of Surgery, the nephrology Unit cares for patients undergoing kidney or kidney-pancreas transplantation.

Main Location
Our team is housed in the University Health Center on South Prospect Street in Burlington near UVM and adjacent to The University of Vermont Medical Center. Our research and education facilities are physically located on the University of Vermont campus. Learn more about living in Burlington.
